Robert D. "Bob" Bisel Jr.

Robert D. "Bob" Bisel Jr., 87, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 28, 1938, in Shelby, Ohio, to the late Robert (Sr.) and Opal (Gibson) Bisel.

Bob was an extremely hard worker who was handy and mechanically inclined. He had worked for the former Janesville plant and Ebert and Sons, before Fisher-Titus Medical Center where he was a Maintenance Foreman for 31 years. He also served his country as part of the National Guard for 21 years.

Bob enjoyed being at home with his family but also liked to fish, camp, get new gadgets, and talk on his CB radio system. He also had an appreciation for shooting and collecting guns.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of over 66 years, Alberta (Denslow) Bisel; children, Kathy Lynn (Michael) Beaver, Steven Michael (Connie) Bisel, Susan Marie (William) Schlachter, and Matthew Dean (Dawn) Bisel; grandchildren, William Schlachter, Michael Rodriguez, Katrina Brown, and Jessica Seville; several great grandchildren, and many great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Bisel and Danny Lee Bisel and grandson, Ruben Rodriguez.

In keeping with Bob's wishes he is being cremated with a graveside service being planned for Friday, December 5, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow at a location to be announced later.
