Robert “Bob” Charles Blanchard, Jr., a native of Passaic, NJ and a resident of Watson, LA, passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at the age of 81. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State University.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Theresa “Terry” E. Blanchard; children, Michael F. Blanchard (Kelly), Suzanne M. Chambliss, Robert “Bobby” C. Blanchard, III, Christine “Chrissy” T. Fichtner (David), Laura K. Clouthier (Paul), Heather L. Simpson (John), and Paul J. Blanchard (Erin); grandchildren, Aaron Blanchard, Ashley Lyons, Austin Blanchard, Emily Leskovar, Aiden Blanchard, Evan Blanchard, Brian Fichtner, Elizabeth Fichtner, Marie Fichtner, Alison Davis, Megan Davis, Taylor Davis, Victoria Freshwater, Roxanne Blanchard, Tristan Blanchard, and Cyrus Blanchard; great-grandchildren, Ella Leskovar, Amara Fichtner, and Jaxson Lyons.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 25367 Riverton Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726, on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
