Robert Cecil Blanton, 74, entered into rest on Saturday, May 9, 2009. Mr. Blanton was born on May 20, 1934, in Argillite, Kentucky. He worked for the United States Government and retired as a Recruiter for the United States Air Force. He loved his family and friends while enjoying and loving life itself. His parents, John Blanton and Ruby Litteral Blanton, preceded him in death. His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Kathleen Kay Blanton; children, Robert M. Blanton, Deanna L. Mashburn, Lori (William) Meeks, Robert Cameron (Ashley) Blanton, and Jeremy Craig (Kasey) Blanton, all of Warner Robins; fifteen siblings; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sixty-two nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12, 2009, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Floyd Neace officiating.
