Robert 'Bob' W. Anderson

Robert "Bob" W. Anderson, age 61, of Nashwauk, Minn., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in Hibbing, Minn., surrounded by family.

He was born on March 10, 1964, to William and Diane (Specht) Anderson in Grand Rapids, Minn.

Bob graduated from Nashwauk High School in 1982 and went on to graduate from Hibbing Vocational School, where he specialized in heating and refrigeration. He worked for many years as an auto mechanic and, most recently, as an attendant for the Bray Lake Landfill.

He was a very talented man with a knack for car repairs and auto body work. Bob was always willing to lend a hand to friends and family. A true craftsman, he enjoyed crafting furniture pieces from car parts and fixing up bikes to give to local kids.

Bob enjoyed being outdoors and exploring nature. Though he may have been a private person, he had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his mom, Diane Anderson; girlfriend, Ruthie Olson; children, Katie Gould, Christina Anderson, and Stephanie White; brother, John Anderson; grandson, Malachi; nieces and nephew, Josh, Jessica, and Clarissa; and beloved cat Keeker.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, William Anderson, and son, baby Robert William Anderson Jr.

A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.
