Robert “Bob” Emerson Fowler, 74, of Wilson passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Bob was a Maryland native, an avid Redskins fan even after they moved to North Carolina eighteen years ago. He was a sheet metal worker with Local 100 from 1968 – 2012 when he retired. He loved all animals. Bob was the neighborhood “Pop Pop”, and he never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories.
Bob is survived by his wife, Marilynn Fowler; daughters, Stephanie Creech and Brooke; Haley Bonini, and Dr. Montgomery Fowler; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jordan, Savannah, Kyle, and Brandy; brother, Michael Fowler; sisters, Cathy, Susan, Paula, Teri, Patricia, and Pamela, and host of friends from all over.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Virginia Fowler, and his sister, Donna Withrow.
