Robert "Bob" Lawrence Mills, a beloved family man, passed away on January 2, 2024. He was born on September 22, 1960, in San Antonio, TX to his loving parents, Freddie Jim Mills and Wanda Faye Beeson Mills. He is survived by his sister, Donna (Perry) and family; his brother, Freddie (Jennifer) and family; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Bob had a career as a manager for many years and eventually became an accounting manager. His passion for numbers and detail-oriented nature made him excel in his profession. He graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a bachelor's degree.
While Bob had an exceptional professional life, it was his dedication to his family that truly defined him. He was a devoted brother, uncle and cousin who loved spending time with his loved ones. Bob cherished family gatherings, where he would connect with both close relatives and distant cousins alike.
In addition to being a loving family man, Bob had several hobbies that brought him joy throughout his life. As an avid Razorback fan, he cheered passionately for his favorite team during every game. In his younger days, Bob played soccer and rugby in school. He also had a love for animals and a passion for playing dominoes 42.
Bob will always be remembered for his immense love for others, dedication to excellence in everything he did. In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
A visitation service to pay respects to the late "Bob" will take place on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Smith Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St. Benton, AR. The visitation will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 3:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at the same location from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
The memory of Bob will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends. His legacy as a dedicated manager, loving brother and uncle, loyal friend, and passionate Razorback fan will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. In this time of grief, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives and celebrate the remarkable life that Robert "Bob" Lawrence Mills lived.
