Mr. Robert "Bob" William Stephenson Jr.

Robert "Bob" William Stephenson Jr. 77 of Siloam Springs, AR passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital. Robert was born March 20, 1935 in Oklahoma City, OK; he was the son of Robert Sr. and Vera Stephenson. He had attended Hendrix College and graduated from the University of Arkansas. He married Joan Hildebrand on December 4, 1999 at their home in Siloam Springs. Mr. Stephenson had worked 29 plus years for Allen Canning Co., board member of the Child Development Center, a founding member of the St. Francis Clinic, served on the Siloam Springs Hospital Board for 20 plus years, was a Siloam Springs City Councilman and was on the Quorum Court as a Justice of the Peace from 2003 - 2010. He sold real estate for Coldwell Banker Fawcett and Sanderson and Associates. Survivors include: Wife Joan Stephenson of the Home Children Louis Stephenson Monroe, MI John David Stephenson Houston, TX Christie Biles Eureka Springs, AR Rollin Rumple Gentry, AR Dale Rumple Kansas, OK Barbara Elliott Siloam Springs, AR Roger Rumple Decatur, AR 9 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren Sister Louise & Henry Brandhorst Auburn, AL Mr. Stephenson was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Patty Stephenson and 2 grandchildren.
