Passed away on, December 29, 2025 at the age of 83.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Anne; parents, Robert J. Wrights and Catherine Wrights; brother, Dennis Wrights.

He is survived by his children, Gina (Mike Bolger) Wrights, Robert (Kelley) Wrights; grandchildren, Brendan and Kaelyn; sister, Charlene Benner.

Bob’s love for the sport of bowling was legendary in the Rochester community. His dedication was recognized in 2018 when he was inducted into the Rochester USBC Hall of Fame, an achievement that filled him with immense pride. Bob’s greatest joy came from sharing his passion of bowling with his children and grandchildren, ensuring that his love of the game would live on. For 25 years, Bob could be found at the Lilac City Bowling Tournament as the photographer, often referred to "Bob the Photographer" or "Lilac Bob". Bob’s enthusiasm was infectious, and his presence at the lanes will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends Friday, January 9th, 2026, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard, from 3:00- 6:00PM. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00pm.
