Robert “Bobby” Dennis Luke, 62, of Fort Worth, TX, and formerly of Warners, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, at Fort Worth Wellness and Rehabilitation. Born in Syracuse, he grew up in Warners, where he resided for many years until moving to Fort Worth in 2022. A proud 1980 graduate of West Genesee High School, Bobby built a successful career as a truck driver, dedicating over 20 years to Sysco. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, whether it was attending music and comedy shows or sharing heartfelt conversations with friends.
Bobby was predeceased by his wife, Susan; daughter, Danielle; and grandson, Damien, all in 2023; mother, Suzanne Luke; and brothers, Lawrence and Michael.
Surviving are his sons, Ryan of Pensacola, FL, and James of Gastonia, NC; three grandchildren; father, Arthur of Warners; sisters, Colleen (Chris) Seeley of Cato, Lorraine Luke of Sumter, NC, and Kim Dean of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Thomas of Myrtle Beach, SC; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
To celebrate Bobby’s life, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home.
Bobby will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Autism Society of America, 6110 Executive Blvd., Ste. 305, Rockville, MD 20852.
