Sarah, I had read several times with admiration the article about your remarkable husband / seeing also the special "Sunday Salute" in Fayetteville Observer / and thinking what an asset he was to our country, his family, and community - all before making the connection with Boyd's help that he was your Bob. When in the service, I remember making it a priority to listen and learn from such trusted, seasoned, and dedicated career professionals who are truly the backbone of the armed forces protecting our nation. May God while giving rest now to his soul, also be with, bless, and provide comfort to you through your own faith and the reaching out of others.

With love, your classmate John
