Robert Stanley Bowers

I appreciated Bob's gracious welcome to a new seminarian when I visited his church with a friend. That first day he asked if I could fill in as Jr Hi teacher for the next two weeks. My wife and I landed at another church in the area during seminary, but we eventually landed in the same Conference for over 40 years. I have great appreciation for Bob's welcome, but also his ongoing friendship. So glad that he has "finished the race" well.

Bob was a dear friend. I will miss him very much. I will always remember Bob greeting everyone he could, I look to seeing him again,
