Robert Walter, Bradford, 72,of Newport, died January 1, 2026, at home. He was born July 22, 1953, in Dayton, Kentucky, the son of the late Walter Bradford and Ruth Williams Bradford. He was a retired Police Officer with the City of Newport, and later was the Bookkeeper for Days Inn. He was also a longtime member of the Fort Thomas Masonic Lodge #808. He was married September 4, 1993, to Madonna "Mickie" Knasel Bradford, who survives. Also surviving are his cousins, Janet Easley, Ricky Williams, Karen Issocs, Laura Wood, Gail Blair, Mike Blair, Becky Blair and Jerry Eggleston; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, with Jeff Queen officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11-1 PM at the Funeral Home. Masonic services will be held starting at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills is honored to serve the Bradford family.
