Robert Braunewell Obituary
A kind and gentle soul, Bobby (as he was known) had a deep love for animals and a lifelong passion for music. His beloved pit bull, Blu, was his constant companion, and the two shared an unbreakable bond.
Born on November 29, 1966 in Philadelphia, Bobby was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and a loyal friend. Bobby was an exceptional piano player, finding solace and joy in every note that he played. Bobby wrote countless songs, and had the uncanny ability to play the piano by ear. Whether playing for family, friends or simply for himself, his music will not be forgotten.
Bobby is survived by his father William H. Braunewell, brother Bruce W. Braunewell (Elizabeth), nephew Stephen W. Braunewell (Emma), and niece Emily E. Braunewell.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 12 Noon in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington Street, Newton, MA.
In honor of his memory, the family asks that donations be made to PittieLove Rescue (pittieloverescue.org) in lieu of flowers. May his music play on, and may he find eternal peace.

When I was in middle school, he was a great friend when i was awkward and didn´t have many friends. For some reason i thought of him and looked him up. Even back then in 7th grade I marveled at his piano playing. Just making up songs that were so good. And he was funny as anyone I´ve met.

Bob was my best friend for 25 years, we went shopping together and during his troubled early years I was there for him. I miss him very much.
