From friendship to mentorship to leadership Bob had given me his NASA colleague a warm kinship in every possible form. He is truly missed.

It was a pleasure working with Bob. Of all the mentors I have had
at NASA, he was one of the most enjoyable to work with. I pray the
Lord would give comfort to his family and friends after this loss.

Dear Lynn,
I am truly sorry for your loss! My father always spoke so highly of Bob and he was always so kind when I called to speak to you. Know that you are in my prayers.

During my career at NASA, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Bob for a two year period. His contributions to the development of standards for Digital Television, Digital Radio and the award winning Emmy for Microwave Video Transmission has made an impact on ever person in this country. His can do attitude was an inspiration to many of his co-workers. He is truly a pioneer in the development of digital communication. Bob, thank you.

I worked with Bob back in the early 80s while I was an apprentice in the Comm.Lab at the 8x6 wind tunnel. He was a great guy to work with! I will miss him.

Bob was the first journeyman to really take me under wing when I started at NASA. Not only did I learn my trade, I had the bests of times and had a life long friend. Bob, smile down on us, knowing anyone who was fortunate enough to work with you keeps a little bit of you still here on earth. -Bob2

Bob was a great guy. I worked in his building at NASA and it was always nice to see him and chat a bit. My prayers are with the family at this sad time.

I was truly fortunate to have met and worked with Bob at NASA. We traveled around in the truck and we spent a lot of time talking about
everything from a to z. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to not only work with him but also travel with him. I believe that anyone that ever met Bob came away as a better person.
