Robert Louis Bretz

I started working with Bob in 1976. As with most people that worked with and for Bob, he quickly became a friend and then family. I will forever be grateful for his kindness. I will miss you Bob. Say hello and thank you to Betsy and your dad for me. I love you all.

Dear Bretz family,
Fond memories of Bob and Betsy (what a love story) from the beginning of the Chili Bowl days. There is quite a foursome in heaven right now smiling on us mere mortals, Bob, Betsy, Bubba and Ray. Love and miss all of them. May you find comfort in your memories.

I am so sad to hear of Bob´s passing. My deepest condolences to the Bretz family. I worked for Bob for 25 years. I learned so much from him. He will be missed by all who knew him.

We are saddened to hear of Bob's passing. As a recent retiree and business associate of Bob's we express our heartfelt condolences to his family. Bob was an exceptional business person who showed caring for everyone that he came in contact with. And as a competitor and supplier we had experience from many angles.

Business, especially the auto business, will take the full measure of a person. Bob handled all with dignity, toughness and fairness. We will miss him.

Our thoughts and prayers to the Bretz family at this time. So thankful for the opportunity to have known, worked for, and been apart of Mr. Bretz work family for many years. We want the family to know how much we appreciate all he did for us over the years and how much he meant to us.

Always sad to hear of a fellow classmate of Catholic Central, class of "68, move on; as a side note, it was Betsy walking with an EMU schoolmate, Ruth Burney, who introduced me to that lady and led to 52 years of marriage. Stephen Foley

Bob, Betsy and family are friends and neighbors from Dunham Lake. Fond memories of our kids little league baseball and soccer games.

I will always remember Bob and the Libralter Plastic Golf trips at Crystal Mountain. We had so much fun and it was great to spend time with Bob outside of the plant.
