Robert Don "Bobby" Brimage

Robert "Bobby" Brimage was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, on July 22, 1956, to Everest Sr. and Bestina Brimage. He was their youngest child and beloved baby boy. As a child, Bobby attended First Missionary Baptist Church with his grandmother, and as an adult, he gave his life to Jesus after saying the sinner's prayer. He was a student at Miss Mae's Kindergarten, A.E. Perkins, M.F. Nichols, and Biloxi Public Schools. Bobby loved sports and played on the neighborhood softball team. Even though he was small, he loved to snack on cakes, sweets, and bread. He stayed in shape by riding his bikes and taking his daily walks until he became ill. He was also an excellent swimmer and worked as a lifeguard at Pringles Gym Pool, where he taught family members and friends how to swim. If you knew Bobby, you know he loved his baseball caps and sneakers and always had a crease in his jeans.
Throughout his life, Bobby was dedicated to many jobs, ultimately retiring from the Keesler Air Force Base Hospitality Department. A hardworking and well-respected employee, he was loved by his supervisors and colleagues. In his free time, Bobby enjoyed watching black-and-white movies, Westerns, and football on Sundays-even though he fussed at the TV, complaining about the bad plays. Bobby was a girl, Dad. He fathered five sweet daughters. He also had twelve grandchildren.
Bobby was proceeded in death by his daughter, Bestina Brimage, his father, Everest Brimage Sr., his mother, Bestina Brimage, his grandmother, Allie May, his aunt, Alberta Thompson, brothers Noah Eley, Everest "Link" Brimage, Jr., and Joseph Brimage, his sisters, Mary Eley-Rogers and Betty Brimage Carr, his nephew Lawrence "Larry" Jasper and his niece Noelle Eley Bryant.
Left to cherish the memory of Bobby are his daughters, Iesha Brimage, Tyesha Hartley (Tae), Christina Brimage, and Alexandra Washington; his grandchildren, Lavon Donnell Cherry, Jr., Dareill McCoy Brown, DeCaleb Peyton, TayLynn Hartley, Elijah Hartley, Tae Hartley Jr., Xavier Brimage, Layla Johnson, Tamiziah Washington, Tambridge Woods, and Londynn Gale; his brother, Phillip Brimage (Barbara); his sisters, Jeffie Eley and Alberta Roscoe (Thomas "Rat"); and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
