Robert R. Brown

On Monday, May 29, 2023, Robert R. (Chip) Brown passed away at age 67 after a brief illness. Born January 16, 1956, he grew up in the Portlock/South Norfolk area of Chesapeake. He graduated from Oscar F. Smith High School in 1974. He was a very gifted mechanic and was well liked and respected by those he worked with through the years. He spent the last thirty plus years in Punta Gorda, Florida. He was the son of the late Janice H. Brown and Robert R. Brown Sr. He is survived by a sister, Susan Brown Kruse and husband Steve, his stepmother Judy Brown and a very special friend Ivana Rolinkola. A memorial service will be held on July 22, 2023 in Punta Gorda, Florida at the Cleveland Baptist Church at 11:00 AM.
