Robert H. Buchanan, 86, of Omaha, NE, passed away April 6, 2007. He was born November 5, 1920 at Mason City, IA to Anna and Orla Buchanan; brother Glen preceded him in death. Robert is survived by wife Virginia; daughter Diana; son Steven and many nephews and cousins. Bob enlisted in the Navy in 1942 for World War II. He spent three years overseas as 1st Class Petty Officer on LST 360. Bob worked 45 years for Standard Oil and Amoco Oil Co. He loved scouting, fishing and boating. He is a member of Lions Club, American Legion, Post 374, Eagles and Trinity United Methodist Church where he spent many years singing in the choir.
