Robert A. "Bob" Buckmeier

BUCKMEIER, Robert A. "Bob" passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Mary Jean (nee Michel) for 67 years. Devoted father of Robin Crum, Kim (Steve) Marsan, Jeff (Lee Ann), Beth, Mike "Buck" and Marc Buckmeier. Loving grandfather to Kelly (Adam), Kevin (Kelly), Kyle (Danielle), Michael, Matt, Leah, Robby (Rachelle), Amy, Heather (Matt), Tommy, Maranda (Nathan), and Mike (Cortney); also 15 great grandchildren and nephews Gary (Rhonda) and Greg (Kathy) Munafo. Preceded in death by his parents Philip and Margaret (Theobald) and sister Ruth Sterbling. He served 4 years in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. After retiring as a union bricklayer, he began farming and opened the Buckmeier Family Produce Barn on Blue Rock Rd. in Colerain Township. He was a longtime member of the Famous Social Club.
