Robert Bunch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beinhauer Family Funeral Homes - Peters Township - McMurray on Jun. 4, 2024.
Robert Lawrence Bunch, of New Jersey, died Thursday, May 23, 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh on Father's Day, June 16, 1985, a son to Linda and Lawrence Bunch.
Rob graduated cum laude from Mt. Lebanon High School in 2004. During high school, he was active in Academic Games, the Rifle Team, and he played the trombone in the Marching Band. After high school, Rob attended Bucknell University where he made life long friends through several activities including The Sigma Alpha Mu Brotherhood. He graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2008. Since then, Rob had lived in New Jersey and worked in Quality Assurance at Picatinny Arsenal.
Rob was fiercely loyal to his family and friends. He held strong convictions and always had the evidence to back them up. That said, he had been known to bow to a strong meme game. He could not abide abuses of power. Rob was also an Eagle Scout who possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of Star Wars. He felt things deeply and did things fully.
Rob will be remembered and missed by his parents, Linda and Larry Bunch; his sister, Jen and brother-in-law Bryan Webler; nephews, Charlie and Sam, and niece Maggie, along with uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Rob's life will be held at the Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray (724-941-3211) on Thursday, June 6th from 11 a.m to 12 p.m. immediately followed by a service at 12 p.m.
In leui of flowers, memorial contributions in Rob's memory may be made to The Innocence Project.
