Robert Bunton Obituary
He was born Sunday, April 24, 1955 in Du Quoin, a son of Billy Carson and Shirley Joan (Hackleman) Bunton.
Bobby was a devoted father, proud member of the Eagles Club, and cherished friend to many. He lived life to the fullest, always prioritizing time with his loved ones. He reveled in the simple joys of family gatherings, sharing laughter and making memories with those closest to him. His infectious smile could light up any room, and his presence will be deeply missed. In his free time, Bobby loved bike riding. He was also known to sneak away for late-night trips to the park, where he liked to play basketball. As a proud member of the Eagles Club, Bobby embodied the values of camaraderie and community. His friendship and generosity inspired countless others, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by his family, who loved him more than words can express. He was a dad who was deeply loved, and his memory will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his son- Mike Bunton of Energy, daughter- Amber Jones of Du Quoin, daughter- Ashley Knapp of Du Quoin, grandchildren- Autumn, Madyson, Draven, Dakota, Kaylee, Carson, Serenity, Colton, and Darcie; one great grandchild on the way; and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law- Corey Jones, brothers- Steve and Brad Bunton, and sister- Debbie Piper.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Donations may be mailed to Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home; 11 S. Hickory Street; Du Quoin, IL 62832.
No public services will be held at this time.

I'm sorry for everyone's loss. Bobby Bunton didn't have the best start in life, but he had a good heart. He was a lot of fun to be with & loved a good time, friends, & the outdoors which made him a good companion. Life took us in different directions, but I will always treasure the good times we experienced together.
