Robert L. Busillo

Robert ("Bobby") Busillo, 74, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on August 18th after a hard fought battle with Multiple Myeloma with his loving family by his side.
Bobby was born on May 29, 1949 to Connie and Frank Busillo in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating from St. John Neumann High in 1967, he went on to work as an Ironworker at the Philadelphia Navy Yard as a rigger, and started an amazing third career as a Court Administrator Officer and Supervisor with First Judicial District of Philadelphia. Bobby was so proud of making the transition after an injury to his shoulder and went on to impact so many throughout his tenure with the courts.
Bobby met the love of his life, Linda (Rossino) at 12 years old. They were married in 1970 and were married for over 50 years. They were a living example of true, unconditional love and friendship for all. They faced all of life's ups and downs together.
Bobby and Linda would go on to have 2 children, Robert (Bo) and Dana. Bobby was a wonderful and devoted great grandfather, grandfather, father, husband, brother, and friend. He taught his children how to be tough, proud, and always ourselves. When Bobby wasn't working, he could be found reading, listening to music, or watching his beloved murder mysteries (Columbo, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and Twilight Zone.) He loved to play baseball and was an outstanding shortstop and 2nd baseman. Many nights he came home filthy and proud after a game.
Bobby was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Connie (Nigro). He is survived by his wife, Linda (Rossino); his children, Bo (wife Melisa) and Dana (husband George Morgan), his beautiful granddaughters Lauren, Juliana (husband Kevin Chellew), and Brittney and his precious great grandchildren, Luke and Nolan. As well as his treasured brother Richard (wife Joan and children Michael and Carla) and cherished sister and brother in law Diane and Sal Martino (son Salvatore and wife Sonni Rose) and nephews Louis Spadaccini and Rosario Fierro.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 5PM at St. Richard's Church (3010 S. 18th Street, Phila, PA) with his funeral mass to follow at 6PM. A celebration of life for the one and only Bobby B, will be held directly following at the Waterfall Room (2015 S.
