Robert WIlson Hudson Byrd

I was very close to Robin in Choir School days; after that we lost touch. There's no question that he changed my life and I have thought of him often. Three years later, I am only now learning of his passing and am deeply saddened by it.

I just learned of Mr. Byrd's death, and I am deeply saddened. If it weren't for his help, I wouldn't have been able to attend Vanderbilt. He took the time and energy to reach out to the college on my behalf, and the impact that had on my life cannot be overstated. I will forever appreciate him. We'll miss you, Mr. Byrd......

I have kept with me to this day the sage advice Mr. Byrd gave me as a naive 11th grader on the importance of one's character. I know he provided an important influence on many students' lives.

We have fond memories of his influence on two of our sons. J&J Hyche

Robin believed in me and supported me during one of the most difficult times in my life. I am forever grateful.

I was pleased to call Robin my boss and my friend. Sympathy to Layne and Anne Layne.
