Robert Campbell Obituary

Robert J. "Bob" Campbell, 71, of Hollidaysburg, peacefully passed away Monday afternoon at UPMC Altoona following a brief illness. He was born in Mt. Lebanon, the son of the late Robert M. and Ruth Anne (McCombs) Campbell. Bob married Carol J. Nemic on April 27, 1991. Surviving are his loving wife of 34 years and two daughters: Shannon Woodard (Jeff) of Golden, CO, and Wendy Stitt of Hollidaysburg; three grandchildren, Delanie Morgan (Chris), Evan Kelly, and Alister Woodard; and three great-grandchildren: Cecelia, Isla, and Thea Morgan. Bob was a graduate of Penn State University, with a master's degree in agricultural economics. He retired from U.S. Food Service with 40 years of service as a sales analyst and previously had been the VP of Operations. Bob was a member of the Jaffa Shrine and was a 32-degree Mason of the Scottish Rite-Hollidaysburg. He was also a life member of the Penn State Alumni Association. Bob enjoyed playing golf and working crossword puzzles, but he ultimately loved spending time with his family. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be held at Mount Vernon Cemetery, McKeesport. Arrangements are provided by STEVENS MORTUARY INC., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, PA 16602. The family kindly requests that contributions be made in Bob's memory to Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602 (www.centralpahumane.org) or Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3551 North Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19140 (https://www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/shc).
