Robert (Bob) Clair Card

May 7, 1962 – November 8, 2025

Robert "Bob" Clair Card, age 63, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Bob was born on May 7, 1962, in Duncan, Oklahoma, the son of Billy Don Card, Sr. and Edilynn Turner Card.

He graduated from Chickasha High School in 1980. In 1984, Bob joined the Chickasha Police Department, where he proudly served his community for 22 years before retiring in 2006. In 1995, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO). In 2011, Bob began working for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, where he remained until his passing.

Bob married the love of his life, Dana, on Dec. 31, 2018 and he loved her deeply, often saying, "My wife has been, is, and will forever remain the finest gift I've ever been given-and I'll be thankful for her all my days." His daughter, April, was the joy of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with his family and friends. Known for his reliability, kindness, and sense of humor, Bob was a loyal friend to many. Bob was an active member of the Masonic Chickasha Lodge since 2018 and a proud member of the India Shrine Bronco Unit.

He had a lifelong love of the outdoors and adventure. He enjoyed hunting, collecting guns, sailing, and spending time by the ocean. He was happiest cooking for others, "blowing things up" with Tannerite, or three-wheeling with his Broncos. A curious and creative spirit, he loved reading, watching and cheering on the Chickasha Fightin' Chick football team, and was always involved in whatever his granddaughters and grandson Erik were doing. Bob was also a licensed ham radio operator, a hobby he shared with his dad and his brother Don. He especially enjoyed volunteering for the OKC Memorial Marathon alongside his dad. Bob will be remembered for his big heart, steadfast faithfulness, and the quiet strength he brought to those around him. His love for his family and friends will live on in the many lives he touched.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Dana; his daughter, April, and husband Tim Belew; sons Shelby Hodge and wife Danielle, Harrison Hodge and wife Tonya, and Ryan Hodge; granddaughters Kylie Hartsell, Kelsey Hartsell, Lily Belew, and Hazel Hodge; grandsons Erik Hodge, Josiah Belew, Jax Belew, Leelyn Belew, Joshua Botone, Montia Botone, and Titus Hodge. He is also survived by his brother, Billy Don Card, Jr. and wife DeNean; his sister, Marilyn Holt and husband Terry; Father and Mother in law Dale and Carolyn Robbins, brother-in-law Alan Robbins and wife Kathy; nieces Emily Holt Parr and husband Drew, and Taryn Card; nephews Billy Holt and wife Lesha, Ethan Card and wife Krista, Galen Card and wife Amy, Caleb Card, and Zach Robbins and wife Jamie; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who adored their Uncle Bob.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Don Card, Sr., and Edilynn Turner Card.

Viewing will be held at Sevier Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 12, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at Sevier Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 13, at 3:00 p.m.
