Robert Chapman Obituary
Survived by his mother; Tammy (Adam) Curles and father; David Leon Chapman, Jr., two brothers; Codi Chapman of Elizabethton, Tennessee, Adam (Amber) White of Fyffe, Alabama, one sister, Ashton (Jonathan) Harper of Boaz, Alabama, special brothers in Arms, Chase, Brando, maternal grandparents, Robert and Ella Mae Bailey, paternal grandfather, Dean Gentry, uncles, Alan (Miranda) Curles, Larry Talley, Jeffery (Elizabeth) Chapman, aunt, Brandy Shepherd, cousins, Jennifer Newsom, Kaitlyn Downing, Brady (Katilynn) Downing, and Braydin Shepherd.
Tyler is preceded in death by one brother, Nathaniel Trumble, three aunts, Janice Downing, Sandy Shepherd, Helen (Dukie) Shepherd, paternal grandparents, Loretta Gentry, and David and Linda Chapman.
Tyler was a member of the United States Marine Corps and of the Chattanooga Local 846.
Visitation for Tyler will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2026, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel, and after 1 p.m. Wednesday January 14, 2026 from the Lakefront Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 15, 2026, from the Lakefront Church of God with Larry Patrick and Tyler Holbrook officiating, burial will follow in the Bailey-Shepherd-Downing-Chapman Cemetery at Mason, Kentucky.
