May you rest in eternal peace

RIP

NOTHING STANDS STILL

Not even for a moment
do things stand still --

Winter ice
melts into clear Spring water --
Simply Clear !
Clear as my old dying heart.

Witness first fall color in the trees -
the branches then go bare.
Nothing stands still.

My mother is gone.
My father has died.
Not even for a moment
do things stand still.

Farewell...
I now pass as all things do --
Empty-handed I entered the world
Barefoot I leave it.
My coming, my going --
Two simple happenings
that got entangled.

Although my breathing ceases,
time and tide go on.
Nothing stands still.

Like dew drops
on a lotus leaf,
I vanish.

Butterflies in flight --
The journey's end.

And still ...
Nothing stands still.

When the mind is at peace,
the world too, is at peace.
Nothing is more or less than real.
Nothing is more or less than absent.
Not holding on to materiality.
Not getting stuck in the empty void.
I am neither holy or wise,
just an ordinary fellow
who has completed his work.

Yet not even for a moment

Extending my heartfelt condolences to the Chartoff family. Please remember that you can always look to God to be a true source of comfort and endurance. Isaiah 12:2 assures us that God can be our salvation, our strength and our might. Do not hesitate to throw your anxieties on him because he cares for you

My most sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. May the God of loyal love comfort you during your time of sorrow. May God's word provide you strength and comfort at this difficult time. "He heals the brokenhearted; and binds up their wounds". Psalms 147:1. "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". Psalms 46:1.

My condolences to the Chartoff family, friends and colleagues. May you find comfort in your memories of him and the work he left behind as well as God's promise to bring back to life those in his memory--John 5:28

I would like to offer my deepest condolences for your loss. May your family find peace and comfort in knowing sickness, pain and death will one day be gone for this has been promised.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

RIP

To lose a husband, father and friend in death leaves a void in our lives. The original purpose for mankind was to live forever under perfect conditions. (Genesis 2:7) Death will stop taking the lives of our love ones.

What a loss we have all suffered.
He will be greatly missed by all who called themselves Bob's friends.
