Date of Death: October 1, 2025
Date of Birth: June 1, 1956
On October 1st Robert (Bob) was taken into the lords hands. He will forever be at peace sitting by a brook enjoying the sounds of nature and looking for what rock will be best for his next project.
Robert was a free spirit. In his younger years he enjoyed the outdoors. He could always be found in the woods hunting with his son and brothers or fishing no matter the weather.
Robert found great joy in his later years working on projects for his mom and his son. He was a man who saw potential in any rock he found.
His heart was the fullest when he was graced with his grandchildren, Rayah, Kaden, Ariah and Mason. To them he was known as "bubba". No matter the mood when they were around he was the happiest and they always put a smile on his face. He was in their words "the best Bubba ever".
He was a very proud father. If he was surrounded by his children he was happy. He was a man who loved to show his children the quiet side of life. From teaching his son Todd the ins and outs of hunting and fishing, to teaching his daughter Kara that fishing is the perfect way to shut out life's chaotic ways but he was quick to always say, "you need to go fishing wearing sneakers (not flip flops)" to showing Anna that hiking for rocks isn't all that bad, it's a adventure!
He is survived by his 3 children Todd Child and his fiancé Amanda, Kara Child and Anna Child and her partner Andrew. His grandchildren Rayah, Kaden, Ariah and Mason. His Mother Mary Ann Child. His siblings Eileen Parker and husband Daryl Parker, Stuart Child, Dale Child, Rachel Goodness and husband Joel Goodness and Kevin Child and wife Doreen Child. He is also survived by many nephews and niece's. Who all have their own amazing memories to carry with them about their Uncle Bob.
He is predeceased by his father David G Child and many family members he has cared deeply for.
There will be no public service. The family will have a private burial per Bob's wishes
