I rode to and from a Habitat build in Slidell, LA, in Bob's van, at least 2 years.
I was always amazed that Bob could work on his knees on a wooden house deck. "Kind" is the first word that comes to my mind, when describing Bob.
He also had a great way of showing interest in others...a gift to us all.
We will miss you, Bob; you'll be present at our builds this season!

Thank you Bob for touching the world in so many ways. Your impact at Mosquito Hill Nature Center is greatly appreciated. I'm sure your family is proud of the legacy you left behind. A man's worth is not measured by what he has, rather, by what he gives.

Carol and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for sharing Bob with us at Habitat for Humanity for so many years. He truly was Bob the Builder and knew so much about construction and gave so willingly and freely of his time and shared his many talents. What a kind and gentle soul and sweet person! I will always think of him with a tool belt and smile! He will be missed by so many. Love to you all from the Habitat family!

Carol & Family: Mike and I are so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. What a great man he was. He had so much compassion for other people and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed his help. He was such a kind person. We will hold you all in our prayers and remember the memories of him. The church has lost a joyful and giving person but heaven has gained the most wonderful angel.
