Robert Eugene Clark, 66, of Paola Kansas passed away on Thursday January 2nd, 2025. Robert was born on October 31st, 1958 to Lucielle Mae White and Charles William Clark in Paola Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am with memorial services to follow at 11:00 am at the Dengel & Son Mortuary-Paola Chapel 305 N. Pearl St. Paola, KS 66071.
Robert was one of nine children born to Lucielle (with only six surviving into adulthood). Robert grew up with his three sisters (Wilma, Peggy (Wendy) and Charlene) and his two brothers (Charles and Wayne) in the Paola and Osawatomie area. They spent their time riding bikes around town searching for pop bottles to sell so they could buy candy. Robert and his siblings could often be found helping in the garden. They were always playing with the neighborhood kids and of course would come home when the street lights came on. Robert graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1976.
Robert had a passion for motorcycles, minibikes and basically anything with a small engine. He spent his life and career fixing up and repairing basically anything with an engine. If it ran off of gas, he could most likely fix it.
Robert loved his family, his family history and his country. Robert was dedicated and consistent in honoring his loved ones on Memorial Day. He never missed the opportunity to lay flowers, ballons, and an American flag on their graves and was passionate about making sure they were honored.
Robert had many nieces and nephews that he loved and cared about. One of his favorite past times was spending time with his beloved cat, Garfield.
Robert was always there for his remaining sister, Wendy. He was always willing to help out when needed. Fried chicken was his preferred method of payment.
Robert could tell a story. He loved to talk and gab and was a very detailed story teller. If you were lucky enough to know him, then you were lucky enough to get to hear one of his many stories.
Robert was proceeded in death by his father (Charles William Clark), his mother (Lucielle Mae White), his brothers’ (Charles Clark and Wayne Clark), his sisters’ (Wilma Thoele and Charlene Geniuk). He is survived by his sister Peggy (Wendy) Clark-Ritt and many nieces and nephews.
