Robert "Bob" Earl Clark, 74, of Taylorville, IL, passed away on January 26, 2026, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield IL. He was born on September 9th, 1951.

Bob worked contract jobs for the Laborers Union mainly out at Kincaid power plant for many years. Bob loved spending time out at Taylorville Lake with his friends. Dancing and playing card games, like rummy and poker, were his favorite hobbies. He truly enjoyed watching the LA Dodgers play baseball. He was always up for a good party and will be missed dearly by his friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter: Melinda Taylor (Taylorville, IL); granddaughter: Cierra Taylor (Devin) of Stonington, IL; great-grandchildren: Jameson and Violette Boline; his siblings: Brad Clark (Carol) of Taylorville, IL.; Karen Davis (Tom) of Booneville, AR; and Deanna Rossini (Steve) of Panama City Beach, FL; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Clark and Audrey J. Dechert, and his brother William G. Clark.

Per the family's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and a visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:30 p.m.
