Robert L. Clayton

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Robert L. Clayton, 80, passed away September 30, 2010. Mr. Clayton was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 56 years. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Japan and retired from General Tire after 29 1/2years. He then worked for Cook Manufacturing and enjoyed playing cards, sitting in the backyard on his swing and most of all spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Rae of 61 years and is survived by his children Pat Clayton, Kathy Parry, Deb (Frank) Cumpston all of Cuyahoga Falls and Randy (Linda) Clayton of Munroe Falls; grandchildren Cheryl (Mike) Kuhn, Dr. James (Anita) Parry, Stacey Parry, David (Holly) Parry, Dan (Michele) Clayton, Stephanie Clayton, Frank Cumpston Jr. and Richard Cumpston; 8 great-grandchildren. A private funeral service will be held by the family. Cremation to follow and inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
