Yorktown – Robert C. Clemens passed away after a long illness on Saturday, August 7, 2021. He was born June 13, 1950 in Xenia, OH.
Robert was a graduate of Xenia High School and Wright State University. He was a CPA and Co-owner of American Pest Professionals.
He married Leslie Loan on May 26, 1974 and to this union one son was born.
Robert loved walking and hiking. He walked 5 or more miles every day until his health prevented him from doing so. He was crazy about Disney and kept up to date by reading Disney publications regularly. His other favorite reads would include alternative history and action adventures. Robert also had a love for cats.
He is survived by his wife Leslie of 47 years and his son David Clemens of Warsaw, IN, two brothers; William Ewart Clemens of Arizona, and John Barry Clemens of Cleveland, OH.
He is preceded in death by both parents.
Calling hours will be 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2021 including Masonic services at 5:00 p.m. and the funeral will be Thursday August 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. All services will be held at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Mt. Pleasant Chapel 7901 W. Isanogle Rd. Burial will take place on Friday August 13, 2021 at Rivercliff Union Cemetery, Mt. Gilead, OH.
