Robert L. Clements

My earliest memory of my Uncle Robert was in the 1st Grade (probably around 1960 or so) when we moved to Marietta GA, where my father was Pastor of a local Methodist church. Even at that earlier time of his life he struck me as the Santa Claus of the family - always happy (except when the Bulldogs lost!), always friendly, and never taking sides in an argument. After my Grampa, John Robert Clements passed, no one questioned that Robert was head of the family. Not just Jefferson County, but the whole world is a poorer place for his absence.
