Robert S Coffee III, age 47, of Lutz, Fl passed away after a long illness in his home on October 14, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 3, 1978.
Robert spent most of his childhood making many military moves with the family. His favorite place was Hawaii for 8 years. He loved taking drama classes and performed in plays in Ilima Middle School. He and his friend Bo would produce amateur reproductions of one of his favorites, the sequel to Terminator 2. While there he excelled in his favorite pastime sports. He played soccer, made the All-Star team in baseball and played football for James Campbell High school in Ewa Beach. He moved to Florida in 1998 when his father retired from the military.
He was very easy going and had a calm demeanor which made him a wonderful EMT. He later made a few career changes before becoming ill.
Robert had been pursuing a degree in Marine Biology online and had excelled in his courses. He was one semester away from getting his AA Degree.
He was passionate about his favorite sports teams, the NY Giant, the Yankees and the NJ Devils, which he enjoyed watching with family and friends. He loved the presence of the dog and cats in the family and they brought him great comfort.
Robert is survived by his mother, Janice Coffee of Lutz, FL, his brother and best friend, Matthew Coffee of Lutz, FL, his children Tiffany Coffee and Hunter Coffee of Tampa, FL, his niece Daphne Coffee of Lutz, FL, many aunts, one uncle, beloved cousins and his god parents.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert S Coffee Jr, his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A Memorial Gathering and Service will be held on Friday, Nov 7, 2025 from 5:00pm till 8:00pm at Loyless Funeral Home, 5310 Land O Lakes Blvd, Land O Lakes, Florida.
