Robert George Colberg, beloved husband, father, brother and poppy passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on November 25, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut, Robert lived in Connecticut until he retired to Florida in 2011. He dedicated his life to his family and his craft as a skilled coffee technician at Cory Coffee and Aramark.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Carol Colberg, his cherished children, James Colberg, Jennifer Colberg (Michael DellaCamera) and Jason Colberg (Debbie). His grandchildren, Savanah (Tom), Logan and Aricin. His three great grandchildren. His brother, James Colberg and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he thought of as family. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will remember him fondly for his unwavering love, warmth, and gentle spirit.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Charlotte Colberg. His brother Ronnie Colberg and his sister Geri De Santo.
A man of diverse passions, Bob, also known by many as Bob Elvis, had a special love for Elvis Presley. He loved to sing for everyone, especially at karaoke and while camping in their RV. He was a NY Yankees fan, which was passed down from his father and onto his children. He found joy in expressing his creativity through painting, filling bellies with his passion for cooking and peaceful moments spent fishing. Bob's enthusiasm for life was infectious, and he had a unique ability to bring laughter and joy to those around him with singing and magic.
In this difficult time, let us remember Bob not with sadness but with love and gratitude for the beautiful moments he brought into our lives. May he rest in peace, knowing he will be forever missed and remembered.
