To the family of Robert and Joyce Coldren~ I am writing on behalf of my fiancee who was one of the first on the scene that tragic morning. I think it is important for you to know your parents/grandparents were not alone and that they were in the presence of a kind, gentle and most importantly, God loving man as they "went home." Although we never had the privilege and good fortune of meeting and getting to know them, our lives were changed that morning as well. As we read the words of family and friends it is obvious that your parents/grandparents were very special people. How truly blessed their lives were. What a gift to have been able to share so many years together. What a legacy they have left. I'm sure like us, when others read that they spent the past 63 years together, albeit bittersweet..they'll smile. It sounds as if they were inseperable...like two peas in a pod!
Having both lost parents, we truly share in your grief and sorrow. May God's grace be the bridge between your tears and eventual peace. We believe in God's words that we should..."always take the time to show kindness to a stranger for you never know when you may be entertaining an angel" Peace and Blessings to you all.

Dear Cousins,
We want you to know that our prayers are with you, especially at this time of saying your goodbyes'. Auntie Joyce and Uncle Bob were our favorite Aunt and Uncle. We remember such good times as we were growing up and how we looked forward to going to their house and vice versa. We will always remember their kind souls and generous hearts. They truly were God's gift to all of us and we will always remember the kind, unselfish things they did for us all.

Love,

Our condolences to all the family of Bob and Joyce. They were our neighbors at their summer place. Their camper is directly across from our driveway. Both were quick with a wave and Joyce always had a smile. Bob always made sure the bird feeders were full and the garden tended to. Both will be sadly missed by our family.

So sorry to hear of the tragic loss of your parents. Growing up on Lakeview Point, Coon Lake I remember seeing them next door at Howie & Joyce's having fun. And making time to stop and say Hi to my Dad. They always were so thoughtful of others. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mike, Karen and family,
My heart is so saddened by this tragic accident. Your Mom and Dad were always so pleasant and smiling when ever I saw them. They are now in Gods hands and I pray that God will give you the strength at this time of sorrow. They were always together and I guess God wanted to keep them that way. Blessing to you and your family.

Jill and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We thoroughly enjoyed your parents and had a lot of fun with them over the years. Your mom always had such a beautiful smile on her face and your dad was such a great man. They will definitely be missed by all who were lucky enough to know them. As tragic as this is, I am so glad they were together. We never saw them apart from one another.

We will miss them and our prayers are with all of you!
