Robert Wayne Colfack, age 65, went home to be with his Lord.

Robert was born in the small village of Newport, Nebraska on June 22, 1960. He spent most of his childhood in Burwell until his family moved to the four corners' area of New Mexico before he started his freshman year of high school.

After graduating from Farmington High School and San Juan College, Robert worked several jobs, including a security guard in Denver, Colorado. He later became a long-haul truck driver, traveling through every state in the continental USA. He tried to meet with family and old friends as he traveled the nation. His life was people!

In his later years, he returned to Nebraska; to the area and the friends he knew as a child, and settled in Ord.

Robert was very personable and knew no strangers. If there is one word that would describe him, it would be 'boisterous'!

He touched the lives of so many and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He loved his family.

Robert is survived by a sister, Diana Colfack and her spouse, Chris Fyanes of Milton, DE; brother, Gene and his wife, Judy of Page, NE; sister, Marilyn Sorensen of Catoosa, OK; brother, Fred and his wife, Rita of Albuquerque, NM and brother, Don of Albuquerque, NM.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Viola Colfack; a sister, Donna Reineke and her husband, Gail; brother-in-law, Dennis Sorensen and sister-in-law, Candy Colfack.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
