Robert Lee Conrad

Robert Conrad, 96, of York, PA, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025.
The eldest of 10 children to James and Rosella Conrad of McSherrystown, PA, Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Nadine, brother Don, sister Joan, and daughter Karyl. He is survived by brothers, Dick, Tom, Mike, Jim, Bill, sister Angela, and children Dan (Joanne), Sue, and Elaine, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was known as "BC" by many. Called an "Ambassador of Good Will," BC never met a stranger and was characteristically very generous. You'd hear him say "I love to give away money!"
He was highly successful and respected in his 40-year career as a shoe executive and passed his talents on to the many people he mentored.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Bob's brother, Jim, and Bob's friend Bob Reineberg, Bob's neighbor Francine, and to Sopfiah, his Grane Hospice aide, for their dedication to Bob and for the many hours they spent providing food and help for him in the last few years.
