Bob gave me my first ever coaching position when I was only 21-years old. He took a chance on me and I have never forgotten that. To say he was a kind and gentle person would be an understatement. Bob was always there when if there ever was an issue or problem with the team and he always had my back no matter what. Bob was a kind, decent and honest man. You cannot say about many people. I will cherish the time I had with Bob and will miss him dearly.

Both Pete and I have such fond memories of Bob at all the basketball games we attended. Teaching math with Bob at PHS was such a pleasure
Our thoughts are with all his family especially Annette

I was a student of Mr Conway's at Oratory between 98 and 2002.. We selected him as our keynote speaker at our graduation since everyone loved him so much. He always had his door open.. could always chat or go to him for extra help if you needed... a usual favorite was to go to his office after school and talk about his weekly Mountain Valley Conference AD meetings.. " the guy from kenilworth.. crying out loud elliot" He was a big part of the oratory experience that made it so memorable for me and the entire class. he will be missed..

To The Family of Robert Conway: Our sincere condolences on the passing of such a wonderful man! He was such a special and caring person in so many ways. He was a math teacher and basketball coach to my youngest son Ryan. He encouraged him and taught him to be a leader. They had a great relationship and Bob even kept in touch with him over the years since my son graduated. He always had such nice things to say to me and my husband about our son. It warms my heart to see a book still in his room that was given to him by Bob during his high school years that was written by "John Wooden". I am thankful that he was a great influence in his life. He will be missed but he left his mark. May your hearts find healing in each new day and may your memories carry you through until you meet again.

Being a neighbor of Bob's in Belleville and also involved in St. Peters, I have many memories of him coaching basketball and playing box ball on Van Houten Place. Box ball was our neighborhood's favorite game and Bob was usually the pitcher for his team or both teams, if needed. He just wanted everyone to have fun!

Condolences to his wife, Annette, and to Ed, Maureen and Tom.
