Robert (Bob) Lee Cooper, 89, of Denison, TX passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026. Born on July 23, 1936, in McAlester, OK to Robert and Olgie Cooper. He married Anita (Myser) Cooper on June 21, 1959, and was a devoted husband for 66 years.

Bob served in the Army Reserves. He spent most of his working career in the fields of plumbing, HVAC and appliance repair and was known for his ability to fix just about anything. Bob was a volunteer firefighter, worked as an EMT, and also worked at Texoma Lutheran Camp. He worked with many young adults at his business, Denison Service Center, and at Texoma Lutheran Camp. The kids that worked with Bob over the years have said he taught them many things, and they had lots of laughs with him. Bob was "unique and special".

Bob was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church, serving as an Elder. He was always ready to help out where he could.

Bob enjoyed woodworking, driving his Jeep, being an Amateur Radio Operator (KB5JHU), walking his dog at the park and visiting with his many friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Olgie Cooper.

Bob is survived by his wife Anita of Denison, TX, his sister-in-law Lila Myser, children Mark Cooper and wife Karla of Colbert, OK. Sara Hansen and husband Gregg of Colleyville, TX. Grandchildren Tiffany Cooper of Sherman, TX, Leslie Cooper of Sherman, TX, Delanie Cooper of Calera, OK, Bethany Korpal and husband Alex of Keller, TX, Brice Hansen and wife Tayloe of Ft. Worth, TX, Bryan Hansen of Morgantown, WV. Great grandchildren Jalon Griffith, Isabella Wight, Rosie Wight, Myles Korpal and Madeline Korpal.

A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service is pending at Grace Lutheran Church.
