Robert J. Corazzini Sr.

Robert Joseph Corazzini Sr., devoted husband to the late Eleanor (Yasensky) Corazzini passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025.
Born May 3, 1937, "Bobby" as he was known to family and friends was a lifelong resident of Wallingford. Bob spent most of his life residing on Dutton Street. First at the home his parents built and later, in the house he built on his parents open lot next door, where he and his wife raised their three children. Before embarking on a career as a truck driver, mainly with Cooper Jarrett, Pilot and Watkins, Bob was a proud member of the United States Army National Guard. Upon his retirement from trucking, he continued to work driving for a floral distribution company.
Besides his pride in his family, Bob was a New York Giants and NASCAR fan and raced himself many years ago at the old Savin Rock & Riverside Park tracks. He was also an avid gardener transforming the back yard into his sanctuary for himself, wife and adopted greyhounds.
Robert is survived by his three children, Robert (Pamela) Corazzini Jr, Cheryl (Peter) Foti and William Corazzini; his sister, Anne Marie Sternberg; his grandchildren Alec (Emily) Corazzini, Olivia (Ryan) Corazzini-Thayer, Samantha (Michael) DeLaFuente, Kendall (Michael) Hils, Peter (Amanda) Foti Jr., Samantha (Cory) Santor, Zachary Foti and Justin Corazzini; his great grandchildren, Sofia, Gia, Carter and Cooper; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, Nicoangelo & Agatha Corazzini; his brother Raymond Corazzini; and granddaughter Riley DeRoy.
Bob's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, November 13th, from 4pm to 7 pm at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 10am, directly at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 137 N. Orchard St., Wallingford. Interment will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Wallingford.
