Robert Corney Obituary
Captain Robert Allen Corney beloved husband of the late Leslie Ann Corney and cherished son of the late Herbert and Gloria Corney, died Sunday, February 26th at the age of 79. Robert is survived by his brother Wayne Corney and sister Deanna Sanders (nee Corney,) brother-in-law Donald Sanders, nephews, Matthew A. Corney and Ronald Sanders, nieces Heidi Jones, Amy Sanders, and Jenny Sanders, and great nephews and nieces Zachary Sanders, Courtney Sanders, Jessica Sanders, and Paxton Orion Corney.
Robert will be remembered for his generosity and love of country. Robert enjoyed playing golf with his ‘bro’ Wayne and spending time with his friends and family. Robert will rejoin Leslie, the love of his life, in eternal rest.
Funeral Services will be held at the West Chester Church of the Nazarene, 7951 Tylersville Road, West Chester, OH 45069. Visitation with life celebration video will be Thursday March 2nd at 10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Family and Friends are invited to join together for a celebration of life luncheon after the funeral at West Chester Church of the Nazarene. Robert will be interned next to his late wife Leslie at Arlington Memorial Gardens privately. Memorial Donations and condolences may be sent to West Chester Church of the Nazarene www.WCCN.cc.
