Robert Cowles Obituary
Robert Scott Cowles, 45, of Kalkaska, passed away June 11, 2023 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was born January 17, 1978 in Bay City, MI to Robert D. Cowles and Leslie A. Anderson.
Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing, model airplanes, cooking, fixing things, and music of all kind with country and rock being his favorite.
Surviving Robert are seven children, Sara Cowles of Mancelona, Gabriel and Lillian Cowles both of Gladstone, MI, Abigail Derror of Mancelona, Mallory and Brayden Cowles both of Interlochen, and Kira Cowles of Bay City, MI. Also surviving him are his parents, Bob (Terry) Cowles of Mancelona, Leslie (Mike) Usrey of Lovels, MI, sisters Heidi and Sam, brother Lee, and two grandchildren Brantley Blanton and Nevaeh Cowles. Robert was preceded in death by his sister Angela Cowles.
Private family services are being held currently.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Family Day Park in Bellaire located on Torch Lake.
