Robert "Robby" Patrick Crall

Robert "Robby" Crall, age 32, of Albia, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at his home in Albia. Robby was born on July 19, 1979, at the Monroe County Hospital in Albia, to Vincent and Rita (McKim) Crall. A graduate of Albia High School, Class of 1998, Robby had worked at RELCO in the tool crib, and was currently enrolled in his final term of Robotics and Animation at Indian Hills Community College. Robby helped coached his children's Little League Baseball and Softball teams for several years, along with being a Cub Scout Leader. He enjoyed sports and following his favorite teams, including, the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and Boston Celtics. Robby is survived by Leah West of Albia; his children, Basney and Tayte Crall both of Albia; his parents, Vincent and Rita Crall of Albia; three nieces, Brianna, and Shelby Mossman both of Albia, and Mackenzie Finn of Cedar Rapids. Robby is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Robby is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Kathryn McKim, Theodore and Virginia Crall; two sisters, Bridget and Mindy; four cousins; and an aunt and uncle. A Celebration of Life will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia, with Rev. Richard Grimes officiating. Burial will follow services in Selection Cemetery in rural Monroe County. Visitation will be 11-8 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2012, at Tharp Funeral Home in Albia, with Robby's family present from 4-7 p.m. A memorial has been established to Robby's family.
