Robert Cecile Cuvelier

Robert "Bob" Cecile Cuvelier age 71 of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Heritage Community of Kalamazoo. Robert was born June 28, 1952 in Jackson, Michigan the son of Charles C. Cuvelier and Beatrice A. (Lewis) Cuvelier.
Mr. Cuvelier had resided in Battle Creek since 2019, moving from Harrison where he resided for many years. Bob worked for several years at Jay's Sporting Goods of Clare. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Bob enjoyed tying fly's, reading fishing magazines, riding his Harley's and horseback riding and was known for being a jokester and prankster.
Surviving Mr. Cuvelier are his four loving children; Troy Cuvelier and wife Amber of Augusta, Michigan, Heidi Meade and husband Bill of Albion, Michigan, Chad Cuvelier and wife Tanya of Battle Creek, Michigan and Scott Cuvelier of Midland, Michigan, eleven grandchildren; Shawn Cuvelier, Libby Cuvelier, Seth Cuvelier, Molly Hein, Kayla Cuvelier and fiancé Mark McGuire, Austin Cuvelier, Zack Cuvelier and wife Kari, Alex Jones, Emelie Cuvelier, Charli Cuvelier and Mya Cuvelier, two step-grandchildren; Savannah Ferguson and Preston Ferguson, four great-grandchildren; Bentley Person, Zarina Cuvelier, Addie McGuire and Brayden McGuire, plus one great-grandchild arriving soon, many nieces and nephews. Mr. Cuvelier was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Vivian Dietiker and Marje Lewis and two brothers; Lewis and Chuck Cuvelier.
Celebration of Life services honoring Mr. Cuvelier will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison.
