Mr. Robert Edwin Davis was born to the late Robert Davis (who preceded him in death) and Wilma Davis in Jackson Mississippi on April 21, 1970.
A TIME TO DIE
He departed this life on November 16, 2024.
A TIME for Living
Robert professed Christ at an early age under the careful guidance of his step father the Rev Charles Wright and his mother, Mrs. Wilma Wright. They instilled in him the Word of God at an early age. Robert joined Greater St Mary's Baptist Church under the late Pastor Frank Love. He was baptized by Pastor Love.
Robert loved the Lord and you would often see him telling others about God's Word. Explaining what they must do to be saved.
Robert attended Scott High School where he graduated. Robert loved his "Bulldogs".
Robert had many friends who loved and respected him. He was always there to help anyone who needed him. Robert loved being with his family and friends.
Robert worked several jobs in the Toledo, area. At the time of his passing he worked for the Sterling Pipe and Tool Company, where he worked for 13 years. Robert had good work ethic. He was well thought of by his co-workers and supervisors. He will be missed sorely by everyone.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Robert Davis, his step-father, Rev. Charles Wright and brother, Charles Anthony Davis.
He leaves to Treasure his memory mother, Ms. Wilma Wright; brothers, Roderick Davis and Demond Davis, of Toledo, Ohio; nephews, Charles White, of Birmingham, Alabama, Demond Davis of Toledo, Ohio and adopted nephew Donnie Bryd; nieces, Ryan Taylor, Tiffaney Davis, Stephanie Davis and adopted niece Toria Byrd; the love of his life, Shirley Smith and her son Robert Smith; sister, Charleen McLellan, of Columbus, Ohio; aunts, Ms. Linda Gail Chambers of Jackson, Mississippi, Mrs Jacqueline King of Kankakee, Illinois Sharon Davis of New Orleans, Louisiana; uncles, Rev Leroy King, of Kankakee, Illinois,, Robert Chambers, of Jackson Mississippi, and a host of cousins, 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews.
