Robert Deason Obituary
He was born August 28, 1930, to the late Perry and Elsie Frances (Green) Deason.
Robert was a patient and kind man. He was very gentle and loving and would help or do anything for anyone that he could. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors. His most favorite past time is mowing his yard on his zero turn. He retired from Stewart Lumber Company, after 26 years of being employed in the transportation department.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Dennis (Linda) Deason and Raymond (Linda) Deason; grandchildren, Jeremy (Amanda) Deason, Debra Deason, Elizabeth Deason, Jason (Jeannie) Deason, and Teena (Shane) Sanders; several great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Wanda Bishop; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 70+ years, Vallie Lucille (Bishop) Deason; and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation and funeral services will be at Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Friday, September 5, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home at 4:00 P.M. with Bro. Donnie Craig officiating. Interment will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
