ROBERT "BOB" W. DELMORE

To the Family of Robert Delmore,

Bob set an example of values that we should all aspire and created wonderful memories for three generations. Once a year, we knew that we could all count on Bob and Margaret to host the Whiz Bang Days parade party, right on the parade route. No doubt, the parade route, was a requirement for the location of their home on the lake. The annual parade and party were a summer ritual that Michael, Matthew, Sandy and I will never forget.

Anyone of us that had the privilege to know Bob, is better because of him.

Dan I am thinking of you and I am sorry for your loss of your father, he did a wonderful job with the funeral home along with you Dan. I and my Mom are thinking about you!

We have lost a great friend, a devoted husband, a caring father and a witty Irish personality. My condolonsences to you Dan and Mary and all the Delmore family.

Dan, I'm sorry for your loss. Bob created an environment at Gearty Delmore that I'm grateful to have experienced as an employee. I've always felt that my time there has influenced my professional life in a very positive way, and I have fond memories.

Bob was a great funeral director and mentor. I served my internship under him in 1974. He will always be remembered with respect and admiration. A great man, friend and role model. My sympathies to Dan and the Delmore family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. As you know your Mom and Dad were like second parents to me. They were both gentle and genuine. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Mark and Jeff Dennis from the O'Neill-Dennis and Pearce Funeral Homes in Upper Michigan are remembering you with special thoughts and prayers during this time. Dan was a class-mate of Mark's at the University of Minnesota and completed his Practicum in Mortuary Science under the guidance of Robert (and Margaret)Delmore. A nice couple and a lot of fond memories. Later, Mark's son Jeff worked at Delmore's while attending the UofM and had the privilege and assisting at a funeral with Mr. Delmore, and distinctly remembers driving him home from a cemetery in the hearse in a heavy rain storm.
