Robert Delp Obituary
Born in York, he was the son of the late Swiler and Betty Delp.
Robert spent many years working in the local manufacturing industry. He began his career with Borg-Warner, continued through its transition to York International, and remained with the company as it later became Johnson Controls, where he retired.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Judith (Druck) Delp. They were married for 53 years before her passing.
He is survived by his children: Robert Delp Jr. and his wife, Cassandra of York, and their children, Kyle and Madison; Lea Varner and her husband, Derek of York, and their children, Tonya and Olivia; Swiler Delp and his wife, Angela of Dover, and their sons, Austin and Wyatt; and Adam Delp and his wife, Lorelei of York, and their children, Jude and Irelynn.
He is also survived by his sister, Sandra Harlacher, and his brothers, Kenneth, Dennis, and Michael.
A viewing, funeral, and graveside service will be held. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., West York, is assisting with arrangements.
